For families looking for a fun day out during the half-term, Blackpool has plenty to offer, and we are gearing up to help them make the most of the area’s sights and attractions during the school holidays.
Offering unbeatable value, our family ticket offers are just the ticket for exploring the town’s spectacular illuminations and the Lightpool Festival, which is also taking place over the next couple of weeks.
We offer a range of discounted group tickets which can be purchased via our app, starting at just £10 for two people, with options for a range of group sizes. Alternatively if you want to buy your ticket on board, for just £18, up to five people can enjoy a day of unlimited tram or bus travel.
Jamie Swift, Head of Commercial at Blackpool Trams, explained: “For generations, Blackpool has been the ultimate destination for a school holiday day out, and this half-term there’s plenty going on in the town to keep the kids, and the young-at-heart, occupied.
“For those nostalgic for days gone by, heritage trams can be spotted on the seafront on special illumination tours, which are running alongside Blackpool’s stunning Lightpool Festival. This spectacular event, which runs until November 1, combines eye-catching artworks, captivating live performances, and incredible 3D projection shows to deliver fun for all the family.
Meanwhile, the Pleasure Beach has always been a magnet for thrill seekers, and there are countless bars, pubs and restaurants to stop off at for a spot of refreshments.
“Our regular service trams are also ideal for exploring the lights during the Illuminations season, and customers can simply glide along the sea front where they can hop on and off for a closer look at key locations, or to take a stroll through the famous tableaux near Bispham.”
